This is the only brand of carb kit made that can run smoothly below 3000 rpm on the zx7r. The dynojet kit doesn’t – (and it can’t ever).
This is the one carb kit made that contains different needle jets (also called emulsion tubes) instead of different needles. The problem with about 80% of the 750’s is that they are normally on the lean side at low rpm and the emulsion tube needs to be changed and then the stock needles work well, even with no shimming (WITH the different Factory Pro needle jets / emulsion tubes.

Note that we said “80%” of the zx7r’s…..
About 20% of the zx7r’s are “different”.
Those are usually the “7r’s” that were too rich, even when all stock.
On THOSE bikes……. we suggest to install the carb kit and follow the kit float height settings. If that’s too rich and stumbly at low rpm and you DID properly set the float height, then, lean out the float 1mm to try to lean the low end.
ZX6R 95-97 RACE JET KIT
Slightly more complex to install. If you want the best, smoothest, power at ALL rpms, this IS the BEST kit.
Use with stock or aftermarket exhaust, makes best power, overall. Period.

ZX9R 2000-2001 RACE JET KIT
Testing on the 00-01 ZX-9R indicates that it has the same high rpm fuel curve problems as the 94-97 ZX-9R and the 95-97 ZX-6R. There is hp to be had at high rpm by correcting the high rpm fuel curve and main jet stagger. This is something that can be easily identified with a 4 Gas, Low Inertia EC997 Eddy Current Dynamometer, but not on a model 250 dyno anything.
This is the ONLY carb kit that WILL eliminate the abrupt on / off throttle “feature” when properly tuned AND allow the tuner to improve high rpm power up to 2%-3%, without hurting low-end and midrange power. If anybody says that somebody else’s jet kit works as well, then 99% probability, they’ve never used this kit.

Our KTM 950 kits provide the ability to finer tune for different altitudes, bike individuality, airbox mods, engine mods, pipes and quiet inserts with a large range of main jets from #158 to #182.
One of the features of this kit is that it was developed at true sea level, on the shores of San Francisco Bay and tested up to 2500 ft on the roads winding up to the peak of the “Sleeping Lady”, Mt. Tamalpais.
This kit was tested with stock exhaust (better throttle response even with the nice, quiet stock exhaust) and Akrapovic exhaust, both with and without the Akra “restrictor” -
The KTM 950 is a sweet running engine – but – you should feel how much better a 950 runs when the ports a re cleaned up!

It seems that some original bikes may have come with differing main jets sizes – For example – our “stock” bike “came with” 158fr/162rr main jets, though, reports from the field say that most bikes have 155fr/160rr main jets when stock.
