Factory Pro stronger detente spring and, if the package is carefully opened, a new clutch cover gasket.
YAMAHA DETENTE SPRING SHIFT KIT YZF1000 1997-2001
Includes Heavy duty detent spring and gasket. Makes shifting more positive at the expense of slightly stiffer shift lever action. The stronger detent spring rotates the shift drum quicker, so the gears are more likely to engage under quick shift conditions. Especially helpful in decreasing the 2nd gear and shift fork wear that the FZR1000’s are known for.
The Factory Pro
Teka SFI 2 Suzuki Tuning System
The rugged, pocket sized Factory Pro SFI 2 tuner is a valuable tool that allows stealthy retuning of the stock Suzuki ECU (no permanent add-on boxes to the bike required)
Works on 16 bit and 32 bit street Suzuki’s, 1998 till at least 2008. Wide, cost effective range of usage.
Tunes in REALTIME.
No mandatory additional cost for “tuning boxes” to the bike owner.
Stores last used tuning settings internally.
Tunes idle settings – on all or each individual cylinder for best idle and cleanest running cruise.
Can reset bike’s ECU back to “zero” values, to easily get back to stock ECU settings.
Improved “all on one screen” throttle tuning ranges – we’ve increased the screen size and improved the screen resolution from the original Teka SFI.
New Backlight screen feature – you can even tune in the dark.
Designed to tune typical “pipe, air filter, stacks, ignition advancer” bikes. Engine modified bikes, or bikes with “the secondaries removed” will develop “mixture humps” that may require a “mappable” device.
CBR600RR 2007-2012 SUPERFLARE VELOCITY STACK KIT
Generally, we don’t usually remap the FI when doing stack design, preferring to design stacks that improve power without creating humps and hollows in the fuel delivery curve.
The Factory pro Stack advantages are better average upper midrange and the addition of a “triangle of high rpm power” (that wasn’t there before). Instead of power dropping off just over 14k and shifting at about 14.3k, now, you have an extra 700 – 1000 rpm of increased powerband and better peak power that wasn’t there before.

How about adding a big chunk of midrange – Start the power peak width earlier.
Billet Stack peak? Hmm… The same as stock.
original peak: ~117.7 peak True 14,000
Factory Pro stack ~117.7 peak True
14,000
BUT! The Factory Pro stacks are over 117 True HP over the 12,000, 13,000 and 14,000 range rather just at little peak at 14,000 rpm – a much wider spread of peak power. MUCH better acceleration!
No fuel injection adjustments were done in these 750 tests.

features a much stronger upper midrange. At 6,000, 7,000, 8,000, (same hp at 9,000) 10,000, 11,000 and 12,000 rpms, we gained 2 – 3 – 4 True HP.

The Factory Pro stacks on the 2007 1000 would likely benefit from the BMC Race filter and remapping, but it’s not how we tested.

New “8670” Big Radius 50mm stacks
GSX-R1000K1-K8
“8670” flare 50mm length Suzuki stack.
It’s pretty much well known that intake tract pressure waves would prefer no inlet radius at all – but air flow wants a large smooth inlet radius.
It ‘s fairly well known that a large inlet radius flows air more easily, but destroys the intake tract pressure waves – ruining the “natural supercharging” effect of a well tuned intake tract.
These new, larger OD and more gentle radius stacks flow more steady state air at high rpm and retain as much of the pressure waves as possible.
It’s always a battle to produce a stack length and shape that does what everybody wants. Our standard 1000 stacks are designed to boost the low, mid and upper mid range hp, without hurting the power at redline (redline, not the rev limiter).
We only use fully loaded dyno tests to design products.
If the dyno testing load is insufficient (as in an inertia 4th gear sweep), power past the power peak on the dyno is hurt – as in a dealership level dyno test. Leading to engines that are optimized for a low load dyno, including “too short” stacks and “too retarded” intake timing – and giving up low and midrange on the track.
These stacks should make more peak power than our standard stacks.

The Factory Pro stacks on the 1000 benefit from the BMC Race filter. While the BMC RACE filter will add a bit of power with stock stacks, the combination of the FP stacks AND the filter gives a benefit greater than the sum to the 2 individual parts.
SUPERFLARE VELOCITY STACKS
GSX-R1000 2009-2013 HIGH R.P.M.
A very special stack set designed to improve peak power and “over rev” on the 09/13 1000.
Specially designed for pro level ROAD racing on high speed tracks like Daytona and Road America and any level DRAG racing, (especially for amateur drag racers who think that they should bounce the engine off the rev limiter at every shift)
Power is boosted in high pre-peak, peak and past the power peak for better power at redline. Usual peak gains are 2-4 (average of 3 from user feedback) True HP at peak and better power at the rev limit. No low rpm hp improvements, except for slightly better throttle response at low and midrange rpm
Essentially, the stacks are designed to not increase midrange (for better track ridability) and to improve higher rpm power (when the bike is more upright) – making the bike easier to ride.
The good news is that they are the among the lightest weight aluminum stacks we’ve ever made and the clamps are Gen 2 style, lighter, more elegant.

TUNER’S KIT
Selection of usual sizes and special longer “one-off sizes”:
2 ea: 30mm, 40mm, 50mm (mm height from airbox floor)
1 set: hold down clamps.
The Tuner’s Kit was designed for professional Road Race and Drag Race tuners who are doing national class engine building and tuning.
Why a selection of sizes?
Engines with different cam timing, lobe centers, different cams, porting, different tracks (to bias power towards low, mid or high rpm power) will want different lengths on the Suzuki 1000 – in fact, on most 1000cc bikes.
National Level tuners are driven to provide maximum track performance on every engine.
Maximum delivered performance can range from using a set of stacks that provide strong midrange for exiting corners, to softening and broadening the power to biasing the power to “power past the redline” and softening the midrange for easier corner exits.
It’s up to the tuner dyno work and the rider’s riding reports to determine which stack setup on a given engine configuration helps the rider deliver the quickest lap times.
Drag Racing
The same conditions apply – Build an engine, tune it – and then decide which stacks the engine land rider likes for quickest ET..
It’s suggested to use a low inertia load dyno to determine best stack setups as high inertia dynos tend to flatten out apparent power past the power peak due to insufficient combustion chamber temperatures.
SUPERFLARE VELOCITY STACKS
GSX-R1000 2009-2013 MIDRANGE
when your 1000 doesn’t have enough midrange.
Specially designed for street and any racing where you want more midrange.
Power is boosted in low, mid and upper mid – in other words, in the areas that you usually ride at. Usual peak gains are 2-4 in different rpm ranges from user feedback) True HP at peak is about the same as stock, maybe a bit better.

F-Pro Updated Shift Spring
Factory Pro’s BMW Shift Spring – latest X085 updated version
BMW makes a pretty tough gearbox.
Improve BMW gearbox missed upshift and downshift problems. Makes even the stock quickshifter work better.
Improves shift speed by 7ms to 12ms each shift – up and down – and helps eliminate missed up shifts and more consistent down shifts, especially under trackday and race conditions.
Helps prevent shift engagement dog and shift fork damage caused by missed shifts.
Better shifting – even at race speeds – even with the stock BMW quickshifter.
Easy install – just have to remove clutch basket assembly. No case splitting required. Takes 1-2 hours. Suggest have a BMW Service manual.
